IMG_9724Have you made a lot of tasty marmalade? Then you might have some leftovers from the citrus fruit….and why not turn these into a great jelly. This is a delicious supplement for various dishes. Put your leftovers in a pan and add the juice from one lemon and some fresh ginger (around 5 cm). Pour in water so the leftovers are covered. Boil for about 1 hour. Strain the liquid in a jelly bag for some hours – then measure the strained liquid and weigh 450g sugar for every 600 ml. Bring to the boil again and add the sugar while stirring. Boil the liquid until setting point is reached (around the 105 degrees)…..then pour the jelly into sterilized jam jars!
