But they are more than just a weed – in tea these yellow honeys can perform miracles. Very tasty and very healthy.
Pick a good handful dandelion flowers (make sure the plants have not been treated with any chemicals before harvesting them). It’s best to pick the flowers when they are young. Clean them and take out the yellow crowns. Spread them on a baking tray and dry them in the oven for about 2 hours at a low temperature, 50 degrees. Store your herb tea in an air tight container or glass.
Preparing the herb tea pour boiling water over tea and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes before drinking it.
